Closed cycle
In cases where the waste heat stream is non-gaseous or where the vapor is unsuitable to be compressed, our innovative turbo compressor can be connected with an evaporator and a condenser to form a closed cycle with pure water vapor as working medium.
Mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) applications
Open cycle
In cases where vapors can be compressed directly and used for heating, the basic principle corresponds to classic mechanical vapor recompression. The compressed vapor can be used for process heating, generation of steam, or hot water.
Compact and modular design offers flexibility to scale up and down
We are designing cost effective modular solutions that can be scaled up and down depending on the individual process.
Our turbo compressors come with a 100 kW motor and provide a pressure ratio of up to 2.8 with a temperature lift of up to 30°C per stage.
Compressors can be installed in series and parallel for various heat effect demands from 0.5 MW and up with a total temperature lift of up to 83°C.
